The Good Girls Club is a lifestyle brand designed with our women in mind. That's why we want to help our women too. One person, and one community at a time. 10% of each garment purchased is donated to local initiatives and organizations that help girls and women in need. 

Here are some of the organizations we support & care about: 

Get Real Movement

The GET REAL Movement is a non-profit organization who's mission is to support the 2SLGBTQ+ youth, create allies and build bridges in schools & workplaces across Canada. They have spoken to over 150,000 students and groups across 8 provinces and 3 states. They continue to help battle discrimination in the school and workplace for the 2SLGBTQ+ community. 

 Indian Residential School Survivors Society:

The IRSSS assists First Nation Peoples in British Columbia to recognize and be holistically empowered from the primary and generational effect of the Residential Schools by supporting research, education, awareness, partnerships, and advocating for justice and healing. The Society assists Survivors with counselling, court support, information, referrals, workshops, and more. 

 

The Barbra Schlifer Commemorative Clinic: 

The Barbra Schlifer Commemorative Clinic is a specialized clinic for women experiencing violence, established in the memory of Barbra Schlifer – an idealistic young lawyer whose life was cut short by violence on the night of her call to the bar of Ontario on April 11, 1980.  In her memory, the Clinic assists approximately 9,000 women a year to build lives free from violence through counselling, legal representation and language interpretation." They strive to amplify women’s voices, and cultivate their skills and resilience. With the help of donors and volunteers, they are changing the conditions that threaten women’s safety, dignity and equality.

 

Sistering 

A local multi-service agency for at-risk, socially isolated women and trans people in Toronto who are homeless or precariously housed. They have been serving the city of Toronto for over 35 years, validating the experiences of women and trans people regardless of their situations. "Community members come from diverse backgrounds and include women and trans people who are experiencing, or have experiences with: substance use and mental health issues; disability; trauma and violence; immigration, refugee, and undocumented status."

 

Afri-Can Food Basket

Afri-Can FoodBasket’s mission is to provide leadership in urban agriculture, and foster collaboration to advance food justice, health and social enterprise in the African Canadian Community. Afri-Can FoodBasket’s integrated programs leverage one another as a means to create a holistic solution to address youth unemployment, youth leadership, and cross generational / cross cultural collaboration.

 

Holiday Helpers

Holiday Helpers is a registered charity whose mission is to provide a one-time personalized Christmas package to families with young children living in low-income situations who are trying to improve their circumstances. They work with donors, volunteers and partnering charities to provide each family with a holiday meal, decorated Christmas tree, and customized Christmas gifts.

 

Anduhyaun Inc. 

They are a not-for-profit, charitable agency created to respond to the needs of Toronto's Indigenous women. In 1973, it was first established as a hostel. Today, the hostel is known as Anduhyaun Shelter and is Canada’s oldest emergency shelter for Indigenous women, where there is support and advocacy for women and children recovering from the traumas of violence. Anduhyaun Inc is a women run organization with Indigenous women and their allies as management, staff, and community partners. Anduhyaun Inc. strives to support Indigenous women and children in their efforts to maintain their cultural identity, self-esteem, economic, physical and spiritual well-being.
